November 15, 2012: save the date. No, it’s not the new iPhone release,
but you still may want to camp out for this one. Following in the
footsteps of fashion icons, such as Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, and Versace;
Maison Martin Margiela has been revealed as H&M’s next
collaboration. Margiela’s collections are known for unusual tailoring,
some deconstruction and architectural shapes. Although this won’t be the
fashion house’s first stab at a mainstream market, as they already have
their MM6 line (a more affordable choice), it will be interesting to
see what this partnership will have to offer. If it’s anything like
H&M’s recent collaborations, we’re in for quite the treat.
