The news runs fast on the net, later this month Nicolas Ghesquière will
leave the post of artistic director of Balenciaga fashion house.
The
press release suggests a joint decision although it was not leaked any
signal at all.The entrance, 15 years ago, when 25-year-old fashion
designer, has returned to almost centenarian a splendor and a vocation
for Vanguard lives up to its glorious past.
"Nicolas has resulted in a
fundamental artistic contribution Balenciaga, says Francois-Henry
Pinault, Chairman and CEO of PPR, the trademark owner to communicate the
news, and we add our brand visibility globally.
La notizia corre veloce sulla rete, a fine mese Nicolas Ghesquière lascerà il posto di direttore artistico della maison Balenciaga. Il comunicato stampa suggerisce una decisione congiunta anche se non era trapelato alcun segnale in merito.
L'ingresso, 15 anni fa, dello stilista appena venticinquenne, ha restituito al marchio quasi centenario uno splendore e una vocazione all'avanguardia all'altezza del suo glorioso passato.
"Nicolas ha portato in Balenciaga un contributo artistico fondamentale" afferma Francois-Henry Pinault, presidente e amministratore del gruppo PPR proprietario del marchio, nel comunicare la notizia, e , aggiungiamo noi, una visibilità del brand a livello mondiale.
